  oh yea u dunno tat? volkswagen beetle was actually design by hitler.. he drew the prototype and ask porche to manufacture it... but it was all part of his propaganda he wanted the ppl to pay for the car first so that he got the money to fund his war.
  
  volkswagen means " people's car " tats wad he promise his people. but it didn't really make it but only after ww2 major ivan hirst saw this nice looking car when he took over wolfsburg factory and exported VW beetle to america hance it became popular.
