Which jewellery shop is good???

hi,
My birthday is arriving soon. My bf is getting me a diamond ring. I would like to know which jewellery shop is best for diamond rings? There are a few jewellery shop: Lee Hwa, Soo Kee, SK Jewellery and Taka Jewellery.
I did a survery and i realised that Taka Jewellery's diamond ring is the cheapest! Imagine a 0.50 carat diamond ring they are selling for $599. Heard from friends that Taka sell lower grade diamonds. Is it true? Can some of you give some comments? and which jewellery shop can get good quality diamond ring? Thanks alot. -

got la.... good jewellery shop sell good grade diamonds... 'bad' jewellery shop sell lower grade diamonds.. diamonds that are more to the yellowish colour...

ask for the certification and the laser inscription on the diamond.....

Good diamonds are very expensive, spare a thought for your bf's pocket.

Taka jewellery are man-made , natural diamonds are different , takashimaya has it.
De Beers , if im correct. Should cost around less then a peanut -
FYI, there're synthetic diamonds grown in laboratories one hor.........

Dun buy from taka, cheap but looks like fake. Dun shine wan, machiam glued on like that, a bit yellowish de. I compared all the diamonds I saw at the jewellery shops, and still prefer Soo Kee and Lee Hwa. Their designs are nice too.

When it comes to diamonds , the higher the price the higher the quality no such thing as a bargain or discount

If you really want the best diamond, then i recommend Tianbo.
My mum juz bgt a necklace with "The world most perfectly cut diamond" from Tianbo. And it comes with a certificate too~

SK diamonds are not bad...
also the price quite affordable lor... many free vouchers and free gifts...
they also got quite nice designs too... -

unless u can have equipment to test is man made or know u how to tell is man made...otherwise....
