CD quality to DVD quality audio

QA q to audiophiles out there. How will u do the above?
IS this way feasible?
1 )Rip the tracks from the CD to wav
2) Use external editor programs to convert them to 24 bit/196 Khz ( or equivalent DVD standard)
3)Burn back DVD medium
If others have a correct or better result way. Please contribute. -
no need to be audiophile.. i tell u straight. no way. i dunnoe how those digital remastered thingies go so for dat u go find a real audiophile ba.

then wad is the approximate size of the music file then?

If i not wrong this will achieve a quasi DVD quality sound. But maybe not true dvd quality. But if yr sound card system are good or speakers ect. U might get the effect.

My analogy is similar to the Mp3 normal vs VBR encoding. VBR and other later mp3 formats produces a better quality sound..........

Digital remastering involves some playing with sound waves i think in a professional studio. how do you force a cd quality audio into dvd quality?
the source from cd quality is already eg 100%. how to make it into some thing more than 100%?

can make dvd audio disc la..then rip it.. hence 'dvd quality' audio.

i`ll rather u spend ur money get a better poweramp or cd player
the rule of the thumb is u can only lower, not raise the already present quality..
the best audio systems to date are still tapes..
of cuz not the normal tapes tt we use lah
but they`re the ones used to make the CD/DVD audio
they are the true MASTER copies.. -

haha my mp3 files total up to like 3-4GB liao...if all is dvd quality...wa....hard disk die liao anyway is there distinct obvious diff? -

You cannot convert a VCD format to DVD quality.
It's a joke.
Always Superior Quality to Poor Quality, never the other way round. -

True Audiophiles record Analog LPs to DVDs for their own listening pleasure.

LP again is superior source convert to bitrated format. -

The Nyquist-Shannon sampling theorem showed that a sampled signal can be reproduced exactly, as long as it is sampled at a frequency greater than twice the bandwidth of the signal. Quantization, however, is not included in this theorem, and adds quantization noise, decreasing in level as the bit resolution increases. Also, in some cheaper systems, aliasing can become a problem, though this can be remedied by using steeper filters and oversampling.

It is not much. But it produces a more 3 dimensional imaging. Some recordings can hear the difference. I tried with the recordings of AR Rahman, for some reason his the recording which stands out more than others.
