During Lab Practical, they don't want to teach us anything and yet when we raise hand to ask, which we usually do, they'll come to teach us...
WTF?! I DUNNO WHY THEY RATHER WASTE TIME TEACH US 1 BY 1 LIKE THAT THEN JUST SHOW AND TEACH US EVERYTHING ON THE BOARD! -
Cos they don wanna talk to themselves when all the students are msn-ing or playing games?

They r paid to get questions answered. Who paid them? U did. So u just go ahead n get ur questions cleared. Also, by asking questions, u will know what u did not know...

hahaha.lolololo INtereStIng TopiC here. Ya i agree that during Lab lesson the lecturers super slacker, My Java lab even worst every week we come in then the teacher just ask us to do our lab. Some of my friends dunnoe how to do also. Then we pay school fees for what. Like that i everyday day stay at home do myself better then java lecture, sit there for half an hour then bye bye liao. somemore we got assign project how the hell do we know how to do or where shall we start. Theres no refrence at all form the lecture notes.And i think some lecturers abit FReaking egoistic. Like got no patitent to teach. pple do worngly then say until so Big lyk that. make pple paiseh lorx. haiz...Too Much ego also no good lorx. will have negative feedbacks one.

It's called a Lab Practical for a reason. You are suppose to be doing your lab practical! This is not a lecture! If you hit a stone when doing it, you should first refer to your notes, after which you refer to your lecturer with further question. They are not there to teach, but to clear doubts. -
cos they assume all smart by default else have to teach twice....or more

icici. this is so freakinG sad. haiz i m having a headache over my java project. i dun even know what variables to use. ya i partially agree that its Lab seesion not lecture session. However, the teacher should do some teaching too.hmmmm. i realise nyp lecturers do not have patient to teach and teach sufficiently. some lecturers just teach abit then bye bye liao. u all form nyp also. me form MIT u all from where de?is there any forum site where got nyp lecturers tag i wanna shoot them back.hah

My view is simple, pratical lab are supposed for u to get hands on and make mistakes. U are supposed to do first, get stuck then ask questions, correct ur mistakes urself or help by ur lecturers. This process is also use during ur working life. If u gong-gong wait for ur boss to tell u everything then siao-liao, u will hear ur boss doing the donald trump "U're Fired" -

no point the lecturer talk for 2, 3 hours but u don't understand a thing. i will rather we do it ourselves, anything don't understand, ask. do not wait to be spoon-fed, always take the initiative, ask questions. -
No lor, not like tat 1... during lab hor... we dunno how to do... we ask them... then they'll say READ INSTRUCTIONS... dun come ask me questions that are already in the notes...
Budden, mostly is configurations problems... which the notes dun hav... and they still dare come tell us, we're not supposed to teach u how to use the program, its not in the syllabus... nabei... as if we noe how to use like tat..FUCK UP..
Then hor... when those Top Students ask them hor... different story... Cheebye... -
