Weighing the Ice-cream(Macdonalds)

  Today went to Macdonalds and buy ice-cream to eat
  
  Saw something special
  
  One of the staff was making the sundae.......
  
  after that she went to weigh it and gave it to the customer
  
  Anybody know why???
  
  Cut-cost??? or............

  why are u guys so surprised?
  
  The size of their sundae has shrunk over the years.
  
  Around 6 years ago,the sundae filled 100% of the cup container to the brim,now it is only 75%.

  certain ice-cream selling companies train their workers to serve a certain amount of ice-cream.eg one scoop 100g.

  It could also be possible that she is under training and a new set of guideline came up for her to follow.
  
  I am not sure if you guys will be surprised by this,but when MOS burger first came to singapore,they train the burger maker with a strict japanese regimental standard,each of the ingredients for the burger:mayo,mustard,ketchup etc must be of a certain weight and the trainee will infact have to show it to the trainer by weighing each item.Even those who prepare the lettuce,onion, tomatos will have to weigh them too.

  Hey & dont forget the 'cookies chocolate ice-cream' (something like that). it is so damn nice leh. And the cashiers there are friendly.

  i eat an ice cream every day, but its those street ones. A cup for $1 ones. i think those are better than mac ones. those in mac or kfc one i always wait until offer then buy one

  are you kidding....? those are awful, pratically no taste in them...not like the KFC or Mac's ice-cream's have any taste either.
  
  you know what i miss...? i miss the old Mac's ice-creams, the ones that came in tiny little round containers, and they'd give you a spoon to scoop the ice-cream. they had 3 flavours, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla, and later on their introduced cookies and cream. i think they were called super-mac if im not wrong..?
