what if EPL also kana wrack out lehOriginally posted by Soze:They were never going to be in the right frame to win the match at Benfica, not to mention European glory. It is a shocker however that Sir Alex Ferguson's team won't be even competing in the UEFA cup.
But it will be foolish to rule out Man United's season. This cup exit will only give them more time and energy to focus on catching Chelsea. Things could get more exciting in the EPL now with Man U out of Europe.

As long as the board of directors and chairman has faith in alex f it will be hard. Afterall within the last decade he has won quite a few trophy for Man U. Alex F I believe rules like a dictator in the soccer team. All who disobeyed him or are rebellious will face the drop from first team place. Look at Beckham and Roy Keane..... Alex F works in a style like he is a China Emperor and all who go against him will face the axe!
Unfortunately, despite losing key and influential players, the board still back Alex up and provide him with cash to get new players. However it should change eventually when there are no results in the coming years. A simple indication Alex is due to be replaced. Money and fame and glory that eludes Man U will force the board to sack him.
Man U saga is just like a working company in the world. It will only budge and sack key personnel when results are not showing[/b]
I won't be surprised if our "pro-Man U" local tabloid prints this paragraph later.Originally posted by Soze:But it will be foolish to rule out Man United's season. Rooney was the best signing SAF could have ever possibly made. Not signing him would have been the gravest mistake.Originally posted by dragg:man u has too much problems in the squad. they are not going to be a threat. and the worst thing is they hardly have any budget for new players. he shouldnt have signed rooney.
