  long time no play 'Big D' liaoz...
  i remembered that about 5 years ago when i went backpacking thailand with 2 other frens, we took out the cards and wanted to play BD while waiting for a bus.... piang... the reactions of the locals nearly scare us... they rushed over... spoke something in thai that we couldnt understand.... action action... then we realised that it may b illegal to 'gamble' in public... they were trying to warn us that we might b arrested by the Police.... so bo bian... hv to keep the cards... fond memories of backpacking...n gambling.... ha....

  my bagpack experience in Hanoi was totally different. 4 of us were on this junkship playing tai tee, our day tour guide a vietnamese very excitedly came over and joined us, he didn't know how to play but after 3 hands he became expert liao and after that he won almost all the games then he suggested playing with money, of course we declined since we on a budget. Our small game soon attracted the boat captain and a few of his shiphand all started crowding around us. Vietnamese really love to gamble.

  yah... reminds me that in hanoi, when my fren n i were there on the boat thinggy, we also realised they play chinese chess and r pretty good in it!! piang... the worst thing is there is an american on the boat as well and he plays chinese chess real good as well!! ha.. my poor fren came back and bought chinese chess set and ask me whole night to teach her... cos she real buay gam guan that even ang moh knows this 'tradition' game.... she cheena but dunno how to play...
