I have come across many women... many of them...
If their kids turn out not handsome or pretty, they will say "No, my this kid dun look like me. He looks like his father. My other kid (pointing at the prettier one) looks more like me."
How come some women like that one ah? -
That's because they fail to take bio in school whereby an offspring shares 50% of his/her genes from each parent.

Actually, genes from our parents influence EVERYTHING about us! Well, I'm not talking about the effects of social conditioning and our socialisation whilst growing up and all that - those are external influences. However, internal influences like your basic character, temperament, propensity towards certain illnesses and conditions, and physical appearance, etc. are all determined by our parents' genes.
