ATM card and PIN no.

hi,
today, i went to the POSB ATM machine as usual to withdraw some money.
as usual, it prompt me to enter my PIN number. i type it in, and it brought me to the withdraw screen(the part where they ask you to choose from $50, $100, $200, etc...)
I choose $50 and click Withdraw. While the machine is processing the thing, it gave me an error that says something like "Wrong PIN no" and ejected my ATM card.
i start all over again and chose from different selections etc. i was able to enter until the main menu, but everytime during the processing part(whereby your money is going to come out), it gives a "Wrong PIN no." error.
i keep on trying this for 3 times and now, the ATM system has locked my up and i need to go to the banks and ask them.
what i would like to know is : has anyone here experience something similar like this before? if so, what's it all about and what did you do?

i had experience with OCBC atm machine
a few yrs ago, before CNY, i need to press money for CNY shopping
so i went to OCBC auto-lobby
i put in the card, press my PIN, then the machine stalled for a while
then come a BLUE SCREEN
then the whole thing rebooted itself
no sign of my card or my transaction (i haben even choose anything from the menu yet)
so pissed....i called the helpline.....
the lady say they will retrieve the card and mail it back to me in 2 weeks time....
if i need immediate replacement i have to go to bank and pay $5
kns......imagine seeing a BLUE SCREEN at an atm machine......
after tt i close my OCBC acct and went to open UOB one -

dunno, today's sunday leh.
i'll try again tomorrow. if cannot, i go complain until the bank die.
knn......i really really angry now. if bank teller act blur, i threaten to see their manager and report them via the feedback form, sgForums and all forms of communication channels, including blogs. worse come worse, i go to CASE and make police report also.
somemore got a lot of money in the bank and now i want to withdraw it, they give me crap??????!!!!!!!

u need not press anything if u chose the defaulted amounts of $50, $100, $200, $500 and $1000.

got once i put my UOB card in the POSB atm machine
still ask me for pin leh
i press the pin
i still can choose the amount of $$ to withdraw
then i press the amount liao then gimme the prompt to say i using wrong card/account....
why not in the first place tell me i using wrong card
that machine is a strict POSB machine, not the shared ATM where all the banks' cards can use...
i think the POSB atm machine software needs to be reviewed.... -

come to organisation, who have the most ATM in singapore? even boon lay this kind of small fly also have 3 different DBS/POSB ATM outlet. -
Could be a faulty machine. When ATM goes faulty u better start worrying because as as computers. one day if it can go berserk. it means yr bak acct also gone. So better keep yr bank books updated regularly in case somethng goes wrong.

Nikar, have u tried in other ATM machines and u got the same error means something wrong with yr accnt or card.
