Does ya Com comes with a built in BT? If not, u need to purchase a BT adapter with a USB end.

I also use 3230, I know how to send pics but i don't really know how to recieve from comp. I also want to know how to recieve mp3 and mpeg4 from the computer. So yea... I want to know the answer too

Ok, you have a Nokia 3230. Once your computer has bluetooth, heres basically 2 ways you can transfer files.
1. Without the installation of any softwares, you should be able to send your files to and fro your computer. This is okay for small files. If your sending mp3 files or anything larger than the free space on your phone memory, not memory card space, it'll pose a problem when sending from computer to handphone. And whatever files you send will be sent to your phone Inbox.
To save anything from your Inbox to another folder, for example, in your RS-MMC card memory, you'll need to refer to the second method or a application called FExplorer. It allows you to move files around just like you do on your computer. Theres a shortcut on the main menu to access all the files(Excluding msgs) in your inbox.
2. For this method, you'll need to install a software called the Nokia PC Suite, which I believe is in a CD-rom in your mobile phone package. If its not, or if its outdated, you can get the software here.
It allows you to view the files and folders in your mobile phone from your computer. You will then be able to send files from the computer directly to a selected directory instead of the inbox so that there will be no problem of insufficient phone memory space. Theres also lots of tools you can play around, like sending smses from the computer instead of your mobile phone and data backup services. -
Alternatively, get a multi-card reader instead.

Infra.... can also but the tech is slow.... good enuff for sending Contacts nia. At close proximity and infra pod align as close/zhun as possible. -

Eheh... another alternative is to buy 3rd party cable. Actually, the cable is essential if one syncs their contacts and calendar or that they transfers loads of songs to and fro. Else, BT is enuff.
