  if i wanna to make a web page..do i need to buy any programme to help me with the template coz im dunno anything abt html..

  buying is a waste of money. frontpage costs 100+ i tink... Notepad is useless unless theres someone guiding you or theres a tutorial website you can refer to

  1) Buy a teach-yourself-book (not on HTLM) but on Frontpage. You learn concepts like you find here in sgforum, eg b for bold and /b unbold etc.
  
  2) Play with the Frontpage software using the book as guide. Better still, attend Informatic or NTUC course on web design (to save trouble).
  
  3)Playing around and soon you get the hang of it. The basic of web design will comes to you.
  
  From my experience, html is not diff to learn but a breeze. The diff part is designing. For me, one or two days can learn and design for my company liao.

  anyway it's best that you get yourself a program to design a web page... it's a lot easier than having to type TONS of html codings in the notepad
  i will recommend you using Dreamweaver it's a great software out there

  Go library and borrow books about HTML. I find the books published by Wrox the best. (Wrox books are red in colour with the authors faces as the cover)
