Costa Sands Resort at East Coast to close on 3 Jan 2006

The Costa Sands Resort at East Coast Park will close from 3 Jan 2006, after its 30-year lease expires. The NTUC Club staff of this Costa Sands chalet will NOT be retrenched but will change its deployment in any 3 resorts after its closure.
The three other existing resorts are —
1. Costa Sands (Pasir Ris)
2. Costa Sands (Sentosa)
3. Costa Sands (Downtown East)
An additional resort hotel (containing 200 rooms) will be built at Palawan Beach. It is expected to be ready by 2008. -
Any idea what will they do to the resort after its closure?

Yea i just came back from a chalet there.. ok wad.. but facilities quite old..

I juz went there last sat.. i think it's the worst chalet that I have seen.. practically no entertainment like arcade, pool etc.
The lobby also very empty.. -
Got swimming pool..
Hope that it can be renovated and given new life la.. the facilities so old.. -

The land is quite small, no space to built such entertainment facilities. -
