  before he was known as eminem, he called himself slim shady...then he took on the name, eminem (M-n-M), cos it's the initials of his name Marshal Mathers when he released his Marshal mathers album...

  IMO his two best are Stan and Lose Yourself.
  
  Stan for the creativity and production, just amazing.
  
  Lose Yourself for that intensity, lyrics, emotion, one of em's best produced songs as well.

  the way i am i still the best in my opinion
  yes, it can be very hard when u compare it to stan and lose yourself
  
  but still, its very obvious the way i am is the best due to the beats and the way he rap(label and bullshyt) at people. very aggressive and after listening u just feel like rapping after him..
  
  my fav line comes from "no patience is in me, and if u offend me, i'm lifting u 10 feet" this line is soooooooo awesome...
  
  and another funny line comes from "I'm not Mr N'sync, i'm not what cha friends think"

  I agree with The Way I Am, it's one of his top 5 too. But i feel it can't really touch Stan, that's definitely his best of all time. Em produced The Way I Am, one of his first few productions.
