How do you tell your guy friend wants to be your gay friend?

Ive been working 2 weeks in this new company, met a group of nice people, have lunch together and very helpful. Have this guy in opposite lab, one of my lunch group, nice lad, but he keeps asking me out after work, and weekends too. Friday jokingly ask me if im free during the Christmas weekends.. seems very odd to me. I have went with him on 2 movies and is it ok for 2 male working adults going out often? I think he is a cool chap, but well...

Why two girls scream yell kiss and hug in public are not considered lesbos but two guys just go out regularly as friend nia become 'gays'?

I think it is alright for girls. They are known to be more touchy and emo. For adult males does it seem weird to go out 1 to 1? I don mind or have discrimination about gays but...

i mean, girls can share their food and drinks with each other, but for most guys, if they ever asked another guy that, they'd think the other guy is mad.
also, heterosexual girls can kinda hug and kiss each other, or get a little close, or even say to each other 'love you' and its perfectly fine. but for guys, if a friend ever did any of that to you, guys would feel really wierd, even if the other person only means that he cares for you as a friend and nothing more.
and you noticed how most girls seem to be alright sleeping with each other on the same bed? during my last church youth camp, (i was a guy then) the guys never tried to squeeze people onto the bed. they were all pretty comfortable with so much space. but for the girls they joined the beds together and tried to squeeze as many girls there as possible, and they didnt seem to have a problem. maybe its just cause guys are dirtier. =P
anyway...i know where i'd rather belong. the 'hey brudda' thing is so NOT me. -

Tell him you got gf or other commitments, so that you can turn him down if he wants to go out with you. Still go lunch together but try to avoid him (in office) as much as possible.

One day, during ya lunch with ya colleagues including him, come up with this story that ya were harrassed by a gay while out shopping or something..
Make it sound funny, and check his reactions.. Ya straight colleagues would be laughing abt it, but if he seems uncomfortable or gets pissed, den ya got ya answer.. -
