can i pay my credit card bill b4 the bill is sent to me? think i overspent this mth.. then m going overseas and need to use the credit card.. can i pay n clear existing 1st to free up my credit limit?

As long as you have pay the amount and the money is credited to your credit card account. your limit should be up.

i tried internet banking.. tried to pay using $1 to test.. but the credit limit still the same... same amt.. didnt increase by $1

The backend computer server are not bought just to serve one dedicated customer. It is meant to serve many many customers. So to be fast they do batch update instead of every request update. This is for efficiency purposes.
Example, you accounts clerk a lot of invoice come in. You process each one as they come in? It is so inefficient. So you compile a small stack then process all at one go. -
