Using (stealing) other people's wireless broadband network!

is anyone of you here using (stealing) other people's wireless broadband network?
me so poor, don't have money subscribe to broadband. but hoh, discover someone so generous to let me use his/her network. So nice.
since the bandwidth is so high, it is good to share out...
anyone is like me? flag your hand, thanks...

Unless u have permission......
I encourage everybody who use wireless broadband network to lock it....
or else other people can use...... and do some illegal things..... which can led to your Broadband.....

I support a community wireless project, but permission must be given.
Do not assume anyone has given you their permission to log on, even if their network is unsecured.
We are sadly not in the US, where the onus is on the network owner to WEP it, and any scanning of an open network is not considered a cybercrime. -

[blah] operates a Evil Twin network. It's a "open" wireless network which works just like every other. The only difference is when you visit popular sites such as hotmail or paypal, a modified iptables will redirect you to a similar-looking site. all you passwords and username will then be captured and saved for later use.

Lets give an example. And it may have happened before, whether local or overseas.
An owner of a wireless broadband leaves his network unsecured, thinking that he should be generous (or foolish enough) to let someone else use his network.
Another guy founds the network, happily connect to it and start download copyrighted songs and movies.
A couple of days later, police arrives at the poor owner's doorstep and accused him of downloading copyrighted materials. He is sent to jail and fined heavily...
So if you are the one leeching, don't give trouble, and if your the one sharing, SECURE YOUR NETWORK -

Got another one is totally opposite. This man never secures his network. Another man found out about it and starts to use his network. He uses his laptop in his own car to hide the fact he is leeching on the network. The owner gets suspicious as this particular car is always outside his house and called the police. Well, I have a wireless broadband network at home. It's locked. No one can access it without configuring the router to accept the laptop.
I have to admit that it's a pain in the a*s*s to set up the router, but it's worth it. -
