our cars will be gone, then all start kayaking or canoeing around...Originally posted by ShutterBug:Dumb! How can a Tsunami wave be higher than Bt Timah hill???
If it is a huge wave, it's not so bad. Because the wave can only go so far inland, and loses it's energy.
But if it is a gargantuan displacement of sea water surrounding Singapore, then I'd say we will be better off on the highest floor of our HDB flats or any building above 10 floors.
In any case, our economy will be severely affected. It would be crappy time again - like when SARS hit Singapore.
But a professor in NTU said Singapore will not be affected leh. I think better to play safe, listen to that Thailand predicter. Did that Thailand predicter predicts around 2007?Originally posted by depressed_80:be at malacca straits..that's means singapore will also be greatly affected, but nobody knows when is it..![]()
