This question can only be properly answered by an Ang Mo. I used to attend Church for many years - I don't know. I asked my Asian Christian friends - they don't know. So I asked a white Australian co-worker.
Box day is the day after Christmas where presents were already opened. For those presents that are not appreciated or wanted, the Ang Mo will put them back into the box to be given to charity. So Boxing Day.
Charity is in the tradition and culture of the Ang Mo. I do not want to put we Asian down but in this respect, we have long way to go and much to learn from the Ang Mo.
