prob with the human mind is that when you think abt something too long, it becomes real. This is a double edge sword. Used wrongly, like in religions, it make ppl think they saw God. Really, ask christians around and they tell you they really saw god as you saw your father and mother standing infront of you. That's why they can donate so much money. In buddhism or other new age stuffs, meditation makes a person like he saw something, some force, some light or whatever. That is why in motivation studies, ppl like napolean hill proposed ppl to use their minds to achieve what they want. Visualize with your minds. Believe you can do it. Then you can achieve your goals. This is a positive way to use your mind. -

in the bible, Jesus left Nazarath and the people there who were supposed to receive healing from Him did not receive it because they are so full of unbelief and without faith.

dunnoe which buddhist here got say dat if u give money to a corupted monk, the monk will get his bad karma but the giver will be blessed with good karma. its not the what is given, its the intention behind the giving.
replace the term buddist, monk, and karma with something relevant. -

actually it is important that the givers must know how these money are giving for, not just blindly give and let the organiser misuse. by the way, if one give and expect good karma in return, he/she is building a bad karma himself known as greed.
