To be realistic, 20Gb or above mp3 players are going to be bigger than those flash drive for obvious reason. How can a 20Gb or more disk drive be so small rite? So for those very active and shake a lot, get a flash drive version one.
I like my creative zen 20Gb very much. Good sound quality and can use as a spare hard disk hahaha.....

Actually if take a look at 20Gb above iPod and Creative they are all bigger than their flash based counterparts but iPod win on slimmer. Creative is fatter.

It is becuz u like to purchase singles. For me I buy compilation album so got abt 14 - 20 songs but pay the price of 1 CD. I have a lot of CDs too but based on money spent I get more songs than you hehehe... -

I don't catch your idea of "a lot of songs" Some people find 2GB of songs alot while some people's a lot is above 5GB/1000 songs. For my "a lot", I got a 30GB iPod video. More than enough for me seriously, even with pictures and videos
If you are going to expand your collection further, go for a player thats more than 5GB. If you are going to be stuck at around 500 songs, an iPod nano 4GB should be enough. The design can't get any simpler than that as well, unless you want a singing amoeba -
