Shopping in Singapore

Hi
Could someone give me good hints where to do shopping in Singapore. I do know the Orchad road, but I find the shops quite expensive in that area.
I know that there are many shopping centres, but I don't know their names and where they are. I would like to find nice classical clothes (jeans, shirts, party clothes) and shoes in reasonable price (I'm 30
)
I'll make my hotel reservation soon, but would like to stay near shopping facilities.
What else I should do? I only have two days

Tampines Mall + Century Sq.

Parkway Parade there ah. near to East Coast Park.. Parkway Parade is quite a good shopping place.. and the hotel rooms should be cheaper than those in town. moreover, town is just a short taxi ride anyway.

Maybe you would like to define "reasonable price" because everyone defines that differently.
You might want to try Hotel Intercontinential. It's located near Bugis MRT and you have Bugis Junction over there. They do sell suitable clothes for people around 30 (you're still young) -

far east plaza - funky clothes, tattos n hairdresser shops.
queensway shopping centre - sporting goods n apparels
beach road army market - army stuff and apparel, camping gear and some funky clothes. -

You are absolutely right by saying that everyone defines reasonable differently. Let me try to declare what I mean.
I'm from Finland and our price level is propably quite expensive. For example nice fashionable jeans (not brand/trend stuff) costs around 120 eur. Basic, tight t-shirts (not brand/trend stuff) around 40 eur, other shirts from 50 eur...
And prices are quite different if we look some trend clothes...
So I'm just looking for a bit cheaper
