cant go out and play with the snow. not before putting on 6 dam layers of clothing. the snow is all too hard to play with anyway.
closest town, at least 2 hours drive away. you wanna visit some place, it takes more than one day to get there.
i was never happier to return to singapore.
I had the same lifestyle as you described. Initially can't get used to it but after a while, I love it very much. What's 2 hr or a day's drive when there's so much scenery to absorb? Snow? I love it! I was down to one layer when I ski.
Slower pace, quieter life, closer to the environment and I appreciate life much more.
In Singapore, my life is 'dictatored' by distractions and majority opinion. I can't wait to get out of Singapore again.
