  Singapore's not like US where the huge population means you can still unearth genuine potential stars every season. Singapore's population is just too small, so what you'll probably get are the rejects from the previous show.
  
  The best bit of Singapore Idol is just the first few episodes, where they show the hilarious audition scenes. Apart from that, the actual competition itself is a yawn.

  Hopefully the people in the near-finals have heart. Last time there were too many people that have none - sing sad song lyrics but smiling and jumping round like a happy song...
