  It has always been this way, when its about Oct, they'll be planning for the next NDP liao.
  
  Heard somewhere, they trying to do it on a floating platform at marina bay soon, dunno if its next year.

  But it has always been like that, the committee in charge of the following year's NDP is decided so well in advance they attend the current year's NDP to assess what needs to be followed up.

  Do they test out the fireworks in Sembawang?
  
  Last July i was bbqing in Sembawang beach, then suddenly for no reason the hill behind us was alive with fireworks. Estimated to last for five to ten mins

  dunno why singapore make NDP so big that the country become a "stand still".
  
  other US is just a simple parade that was hastily organised 1-2 months before. haha.

  In order of position on the field:
  
  Best Combat Unit --> Navy --> Air Force --> Police.
  
  Good question on the BCE. I dun know why like that.
