I am thinking of upgrading my M1 line for another 2 yrs for a Sony Ericsson K700i for $98. Does anyone out there who had used K700i before give me some advice if I should buy tat phone? I had been a Sony Ericsson user since last yr and I am very familiar to its function and messaging.. I am using T630 now.. Can anyone give me an advice ?

The good: Classy executive design; top-notch finish; VGA camera with photo light; MP3 player; FM radio; speakerphone.
The bad: No expansion slot; sporadic pauses.

hey k700i sucks I am using it now after a few times you drop it the button which you use to scroll up and down in the menu become insensitive you have to press hard for it to actually work...so not very good.

oic...thx for the advice... i also thinking of buying the new SE phones... but very expensive leh.. like e.g K750i... But if i buy the K700i, how can i transfer the Mp3 songs from my PC?

i am using it.
my take: good enough for me.
drawback: can be quite slow, and retarded sometimes. Anyway, better than older model like yours T630. Take a closer look, which new phone isn't slow? Nokia old black&white phone used to be fast, but look at its new color phone, also slow.
one bad thing is its voice volume is big. your secret would be known by everyone nearby.
i love it. quite cheap ($198 that time though) and full of features. IR, bluetooth, 41MB memory, big screen, stylish look, where to find?? -
Emm should be not bad bah, coz alot of my frens are using it, gt bluetooth and mp3player, bt den one thing i dunt like abt it is that the scroll is sometimes quite hard to control, dats why i prefer pressing the.

sold my 6230, using 6100 now.. i love 6100's ergonomic thingy, small and nice to feel and touch. but si bei lag and lousy colour

K700i my wife using and the only thing I dun like is the button to press numbers is so small and hard. I use one hand press until finger pain leh especially when composing SMS. Samsung keypad best big big and flat flat press already very shiok no finger pain. And nokia also not bad but if you go for camera and screen display samsung is better IMHO

i bought it when it first came out. 2 yr plan for $498. good phone lah seriously! just that it likes to lag, but me being patient, i wait lor. but u want to buy it now? isnt it like a bit too stagnant in the market liao. it came out in 3rd quarter 2004 leh.

I bought it early 2005 (March or April, can't remember), 2 year plan only at $198. Depreciates a lot man... from 498 to 198. In fact, during that time, Apple mobile was offering at 148 only. wah really ah. i buy Aug 2004 leh. but lost it in Aug 2005. bloody hell. in my 2nd month with the phone signal breaks up when im walking and using the earpiece... for charging i have to carefully shift the jack up and down until "Charging" appears...
