why do children like to scream one?

Their screaming can be very deafening to the ears. Why must scream one? I don't see adults doing that.

if they had the ability to beat the daylights out of the person who bully them,they would have.
the problem is they can't.
the only thing they can do is to bite or scream,and expectedly,the bully stops making fun of them once they do either one of the following.this sends a signal to the children's brains that if they scream or bite,the attacker or teaser would be put off.
thus they scream or bite the next time this happens.

No leh, sometimes they scream for no reason. Which get me very pissed at times. but when my other brothers start to bully him,he really screams at the top of his voice.

haha..well, as someone mentioned:
kids have limited vocabulary to express their feelings and thoughts. the only way they express their distress is by screaming. tis is a way in 'calling for help or attention'
jus like babies, who do not have language to communicate, they cry. there are many different types of cries for their different needs.
how to understand them? i guess it v much take experience. a close and regular caretaker would b able to help them out in solving the problems.
guess its e milestones of growing up.
e best way to handle it is to calm e kid down, then talk them thru. ask them what made them scream and why they scream. explain that scream does not help in solving their distress...of cos it takes patience...
if they are up to attention seeking only, then i guess it all voice down to their personalities...jus handle them from there... -
