Is the Da Vinci Code worth buying?

Well, i dont buy novels since they're quite expensive and i'd rather spend money on other stuff instead. Nevertheless, this title is making me wonder whether i should buy it or not. Heard that it's interesting and with so many million books sold, it should be good kua...
The question right now is whether it really is a very good book? and would u want to read it again after reading it the first time? (repetitive value i guess so that it's worth the money) Or should i just wait till the library has the book and borrow it? Haha, books are expensive, wat to do...help me here k? -

Oh ya, i asked abt the 'repetitive value' part becoz usually novels....i just read once then i wont feel like reading it again. So if that is the case with this book, then i think it wud be a waste of money if i bought it. Should just borrow it from the library in the future. So give ur comments k?

Lol, problem with movies is that they dont usually potray the whole story and it's mostly a shortened, summarized version of the actual story. So a lot of parts might not be included. Plus, movie version of novels can sometimes be lousy, lol....

yeah.. i'm thinking the movie version may be bad...
the book was a total fiasco actually.. the author refused to say that it is a work of fiction... causing more controversy and therefore sales (i think he's thinking like that)
everything in the book has been based on hearsay, nonsense, figments of imagination, hoaxes, debunked myths and outright falsehoods..

LOTR books...haha...even looking at how thick it is turns me off...not to mention all those weird names and terms...haha...
Btw, Narnia the movie, haha, i thought it was pretty short, the plot i mean, war happen, the kids sent off to uncle's place, play hide and seek, girl went into wardrobe, in end all went into wardrobe, then pretty much war liaw...then the end...haha...very funny looking at how they fought...it's just a matter of which side's quantity is more. Like the swarm and attack method...hahah....the bad guys very lousy... -
