HELP MY COM!!!

omfg! just now suddenly restart... (in the mid of dota game owning -.-)
just wan to know, is there any serious problem going on?
I'm scared if the graphic cards or anything inside burn or maybe overheat?
Or is it virus(spyware,adware) that caused it to restart?
Or is it really no serious problem i can worry about..? -
u hit the on/off button is it?
got a few times... my ankle hit the on off button.. and i have to start my pc again -_-||||| -
Need more info. Whats your Operating System? Have you installed anything new recently? Any other problems or weird behaviours?
To prevent it from auto restarting, right-click My Computer --> Properties --> Advanced tab --> Startup and Recovery Settings --> Uncheck Automatically Restarting. A blue screen will show up instead, along with error codes and possibly a few words that will tell you what exactly is the problem. -

Overheating can also cause the system to reboot.
Did you overclock CPU/graphics card? Is your room warm? Your CPU/graphics card fan(s) died? -
ram usage too high?

it maybe due to a slight power glitch also which you may not notice. most common reasons that system do a auto reboot that is not due to human error is overheating and power glitch (espcially true if the power supply you are using is some funny brand). memory usage too high or computer resource usage too high will only result in computer going into a temp "hang" mode.

Oh, one more thing:
LEAKING or SWOLLEN capacitors on motherboard, and or PSU and graphic card. -
Any Blue Screen Of Death before it died? If so, did you copy down the error code...?

try removing any entries with "ps2.exe" from your system startup, from either:
1. Start Menu/Programs/Startup,
2. run "msconfig" and unchecking references to "ps2.exe".
restart the com. only if problem still persists,
3. delete any such entries from [HKLM|HCU]/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentControlSet/Run/ in the registry.
all else fails, come here again and report, or go IT/Tech Help forum.
note that you will lose functionality of those special buttons on your special HP keyboard. if you're already using a normal keyboard, then good, turn off ps2.exe. -

just like what tamago said. if you wanna regain the use of those multimedia keys I suggest you reinstall the ps2.exe. There may be a CD that comes with your computer, storing all those applications which only comes with HP computers
