Nokia PC suite and problems

IS everyone else having problems with Nokia Pc suit and Data cable?
Damn the phone doesnt connect.How to rectify and get it working? -
i thought nowadays used MMC and RS-MMC card readers via Bluetooth and IR. never touched the pc suite, not to say bought the data cable!

Encountered the same problem when using my N3200 as well.
Make sure it installs the driver for the cable. Theres usually a installation CD that comes with it.
You have to go Select Phone, Connection, and under the Serial Cable (Or something containing serial, can't remember), click on options and try every single one till it manages to detect your phone. The one that makes your mouse cursor stay at "Busy"(Hourglass) the longest time is the correct one. If that can't detect, disconnect the wire physically from the phone and computer and reconnect them.
If it can't work, restart your computer with the wires connected.
If it still cannot detect, your cable may be spoilt.
You'll have to use IR method of connecting to your computer then... -

when u see under hadware devices, got Exclamation mark means the Nokia suite or cable driver is itself a problem already.
