I've got a degree in chemical engineering and I've never heard of interferon till now.
I've heard of money though....I know how money is produced.
Anyway, are you talking about human body production when infected? If so, I think the specialised medical research professionals would be able to help better. It would be a case of very specialised study.
But since you're asking for engineers to answer, I guess you're more likely talking about industrial production? If so, it would probably be proprietary information and only the top guys at pharmaceutical companies would know. -
Hmmm do u mean the industrial production of interferon or simply the industrial production process of pharmaceuticals in general?
If you meant the later, then it is very hard to tell you how it is done in a single post since pharmaceutical production is a multi-step, high value-added process.
I am not too sure about interferon but in general pharmaceutical production is different from the production of bulk chemicals as production yield is low, costly with huge amount of waste generated. -
i know how small scale production works. I need to know how they do it in large scale...
