  Personally, I never had problems with MS Internet Explorer. How badly your browser performs only reflects on how well protected your computer is from online threats.
  
  While agreeably IE has it's flaws, but so long as you keep abreast of news updates about Microsoft products, and download the relevant updates/patches, things will be fine.
  
  Always install a licensed copy of Norton Internet Security, and no great harm can reach you.

  wtf??? FireFox was developed by Mozilla not Google. I use FireFox because of tabbed browsing, but FireFox is more memory hogging that Internet Explorer i have to say. I just did a quick check and FireFox is using 45mb of memory space now.

  i think its because of the google search bar it has...
  
  always prefered netscape though, back to the days of 4.5.

  The Firefox security issues arent serious at all and wont even disable your PC unlike catching a spyware through IE. Likewise with Linux, and with Linux, its impossible to even infect your PC with any resident spywares because of their account management thing.
