Connection jam during online Bill payment using debit card..

  As above, anyone experienced the above situation? Last night, I was trying to pay a bill online through my debit card. I have done this lots of times liao..
  
  But yesterday night, the webby give me problems. After I typed my debit card number,I click the "submit" button to process the payment. However, the page did not change to the "transaction completed" page. Instead, page stalled there for some time due to internet jam. I close the page eventually.
  
  However, I checked my Bill through an enquiry line and found that the oustanding balance is still there. I checked my POSB a/c....wad?? Amt oredi deducted liao! Trouble liao, online payment is lost somewhere in cyberinternet space....how ah..?

  call your bank to enquire.

  Yes, it happens, even major shopping venues like metro, isetan, and robinsons are not spared. Credit card payment services can just come to a complete halt until the lines are cleared. It sounds impossible, but it does happen.

  chage ur password immediatelly!
  go and give the bank a call abt this

  ask the bank to verify with the merchant that a deduction payable to the merchant has taken place and to honour it.

  If you don't have a legitimate Firewall and Antivirus installed, you are taking a big risk of revealing all your sensitive data to hackers.
  
  But if you do have a Firewall and Antivirus, then it's likely you don't have Java installed or it isn't updated.
  
  Perhaps it would be good to update your Windows via Windows Update (IE > Tools > Windows Update), then go to www.java.com/en/download/ie_auto.jsp
  
  It would probably work after this.
