  anyway...i don't think it should be that hard. most homosexuals probably can accept it if you arn't gay. its just that i think they want you to know that they feel something for you.
  
  i have a gay friend who has a crush on one of my classmates, and he finally told him that day. the other guy wasnt gay so, they probably would never be together, although they're still friends now and i think they're fine with that.
  
  whenever i date guys or gals, im usually prepared if they reject me when i tell them the truth. we usually still remain friends though.
