Nokia Handphone batteries

  Have a Q regarding Nokia Hps and its battery.
  
  1) When u buy a new Nokia BAttery (original) how long u have to charge before the first use?
  
  2) Then for subsequent charges, how should u do it? Let it completely drain or u have to carge when the battery is almost empty but still left some.

  Just charge till your nokia phone screen reads Batt fully charge can liao loh. Dont try charge your new phone for more than 3 hrs. Wait burn how?

  Usually the Hello shop say charge for 6 hrs after first buy

  every telco shop also say charge for overnite or at least 8 hrs. But if phone burn who pity u leh?

  agreed. ppl who do their first charge for 8 hours, battery spoil very fast. overcharging occurs even if ur charger has so called protection feature.
  
  just charge to full. then use normally or extended to discharge it fully. then charge again to full one shot for the second time. you can continue as per normal lithium-ion or ni-cd use.
