  Let's take for average you had spend about 13-15 years of ur life on education. are you actually using any of what you had learnt now?
  
  at work, do you actually use what you learn in Maths, History, Bio or even Chem?
  
  for those still studying, please go back to your homework
  
  for myself, i don't frigging remember what i had learnt over the 13years of my school life. less the languages for me to converse and write, basic mathematical skills.
  
  at work i used what i had learnt less den a year. what about you?

  n many r repeating.
  u learn algebra in lower sec, go upper sec oso learn same thing...
  science oso...except for those in pure science...slightly more in depth den lower sec science...otherwise those who took sub science is abt the same...

  depends on whether ur work is related 2 ur scope of studies... for me... i return almost all stuff 2 my teachers liao... but i noe pple who not only apply wat they learn... they learning more... in e end u need fundamentals...

  studying is to just tell your boss that you are able to remember lots and lots of things.
  also to tell your boss that you are able to apply what you learnt. that is more important.

  me and my friends who took A lvls last year.. we kinda 4got wad year 2 syllabus was all abt.
  
  singapore education system. memorise(even when they tell us to UNDERSTAND) and we regurgitate(even when they tell us to APPLY).

  Unless you are into research or doing teaching or some specialized industry or profession, very often what we learnt are not directly applied in our working life. However the fundamental basics are still there. We know how to count 1 +1, we know how to read write english, we know the concept of zero, we know a bit of physics, geography etc.....
  
  The life after study is up to us to learn especially opick politik skillset which is not taught in school but is taught in workplace. Learn it well to secure your rice bowl

  Depends on what job you do. You work in IT sector don't expect that your skills come from primary school.
  
  You work as cleaner don't need much skills. Just know how to operate the machines can liao.

  school doesn't just teach us knowledge, it give us a chance to socialise, make friends, develop our character, builds our moral values, differentiate why's right, what's wrong.
  
  school should be fun, and books should be the last thing u wanna touch in school.
