abt Renci charity show.. ch8 = circus?

anyone read the lian he zao bao today?
can remember who said this..
but someone from mediacorp commented that ch 8 should organize oversea circus acts..
he complained about those tough trainings they have to practise for charity shows after Jacelyn Tay injured during the training few days ago. -
she hurt her back and started complaining that artistes have to do dangerous stunts.
arent they paid well to do it? -
it's semi-circus already...
how many of them are really willing or like to do these stuff over and over again for years? even though it's for the sake of charity.
they just couldn't refuse for fear of getting bad publicity -

why do they need all these stunts in the first place?
do people donate more because of it? ostensibly it is so.

The artiste will not get bad publicity from the public.
The public know that all the stunts should be done by professionals, not actors.
The professional Ow-er have went Japan to study.
For the artist, if they dun do the stunt, they will be send to cold storage.
No surprise for jaclyn on making the circus remarks.
She have just hasten her marriage plans.
With the cancellation of the charity show, the media and telecom company have to drum up new way for people to pour money into their pocket.
That is why that are the Sec Sch Superstar, Band Superstar, Singapore Idiots coming fast and furious in 2006.
Where is Taufik now after cutting his only solo albums ???
After this income is milked dry, there will be other ways coming soon. -

if anyone were to do some social studies about singapore
perhaps one of the conclusions would be that singaporeans will only donate if reverends were asked to do stunts like standing on poles, walking on wire, submerged in ice etc..
more like chris angel mindfreak or david blaine. -

In real a good size of donation go to waste. I would rather they sing songs and act some stage show which save the insurances money and teacher fees which is a bomb. -

seriously speaking the actors are only paid for acting not risking their lifes on charity if they are not paid it is totally not worth it... imagine you're performing like a clown making stunts telling people to donate...
if people really wanna and have the heart to donate they will automatically donate without any stunts on tv or any attractive prizes... the situation now is like we are watching people on the streets performing and throwing in coins for his/her stunts or tricks...
well if mediacorp is really into donation drive why don't we ask the director of mediacorp to make a stunt... i'm sure it will be an eye opener... -
when will we see our beloved "elected MP" do those stunts??? i am sure they are most willing to do it without pay for our poor citizen right?
