Help! Keyobard prob

  i got one of this arrow key on my laptop having a prob..
  
  while playing games or even using the arrow key to navigate, sometimes the cursor just stop or pause even when i m pressing the arrow key down continously..
  
  wad is wrong?

  aiya , u can throw the keyboard away and get a new one , the price is cheap nowaday

  i know cheap but mine is LAPTOP not PC

  At this yr friend can SEE the problem straight away for the threadstarter case he/she cannot SEE the problem

  i can go Ngee Ann Poly to service it since i bought it from ngee ann...but main prob is so much stuff to do on laptop so i cant really sent it for repair without affecting my work..
  
  anyone know wads the prob? n if 1 key got prob the whole keyboard must change ahz?

  Only possible reason i can think of is the contact has wear off or misaligned. Either problem will still result in the same solution, which is bringing yr laptop to the service center for them to rectify it. Frankly unless u know how to change the internal keyboard yrself i doubt there is any other way you can bypass going to the service center.

  alternatively, you can just buy a normal USB keyboard. Or those soft USB keyboard so u can put it on top of the original keyboard.

  If your laptop's keyboard spoil, but you got urgent things to do there, can use the Windows Xp On-screen Keyboard.
  
  Under start menu, go to 'accessories', 'accessibility', then click 'on-screen keyboard'.

  Just hope that you only need to change that particular key and not the whole keyboard.

  Key spoilt from pressing too hard. Gentler a bit.
