  and if you take into account animes, almost nothing comes close to Cowboy Bebop - The Movie... the theme Gotta Knock A Little Harder by Yoko Kanno and The Seatbelts (featuring Mai Yamane) will blow you away...
  
  soul, blues, rock, bebop.. everything mixed into a seriously powerful song which captured the essense of the movie and the whole series, of the quiet desperation of each character as they moved towards an expected tragic end which they are all trying their hardest to avoid..
