is fatherhood well accepted by men?

I have a feeling many men are reluctant of fatherhood. they have it either because of their wife or society expectations. Ever seen men with kids being dull and bored in public?
like they lost something in their life. Women's maternal urge is inbred in their genes. But for men i believe it is not the case..... -

there are as many guys I know who do have their paternal instincts...as much... or maybe even more than the ladies...
in fact...quite a number of ladies I know dun want to have kids... -
Their paternal instinct is not inbred, it comes from feeling compassion for the young child, or the child represent their past youth.
If men are noble nurturing creatures, they will not be the cause of problemsi n this world -

the Men might not love kids. But once they have them around its a great feeling. The ladies don't want kids becos they have to look after them once the men get tired of the kids.

I felt that when you actually feel that way, there's no true love. True love is about giving, not receiving. If you feel you get deprived of the love and attention because of the arrival of kids, then you may want to reflect and think about the true meaning of love.

haha yeah monte has a point there..
some guys are so jealous cos their wives are so close to their kids..
there are jus some things that e males cant give...only e females can give birth, and nurse them..tat creates the special bond btw the child and mother..
but yes, e father can b an active parent by being ard...tatz good enough i guess..tis can prevent them from being left out.. -
