No paragraphs. List down your main points only. Thats why it is called a PowerPoint. It is suppose to only remind the speaker about what he is going to talk about.
No fancy backgrounds as well. If you are going to put a picture as background, reduce its opacity and contrast.
Font size recommended 24 and above.
Don't have those fancy custom shows. They waste time.
Make sure your main point is easily distinguished from your sub points. For example, bold your main points. Sub points no bold.
