winfixer help

Anyone knows what it is? it automatically tells me to download but i didnt of course. One of my computer is old so i never bothered install with firewall and antivirus and now winfixer.exe keep coming to tell me to download.

rule of thumb is not to download anything U dont want to download.
U can try doing a search on the net for it...but my guess is that it's spyware... Laughing

lucky for me. saw the win word, very tempted to download but decided not to do it. I have never kena a virus before but one of my computer is very prone sia. not enough disk space to install firewall, antivirus software and cannot even windows update.

U can turn off the autoupdate option mah...

if U dun want to patch ur system...well...its ur choice...but U will have to deal with the dangers of having loopholes all around ur OS...

but then since the system is not a critical one...I hope U have a good backup... Laughing

Using XP for this old computer?

Revert back to Win 95. Don't even need to bother with firewall and antivirus.
