Fire at Takashimaya.

I was at Takashimaya last night when I heard the fire alarm went off. The shoppers all thought it was a false alarm and didn't pay any attention to it. Then, the SCDF arrived and we realised that the top floor was fuming with smoke. We were then told to evacuate the building. On the way down, I heard someone say Singaporeans doesn't seem to be afraid, they even continue to shop when the smoke is quite dense.
Say, what would you do in a similar situation? Run or continue shopping?

There was no fire, just lots of smoke. Smoke from seoul garden restaurant. Report is in today's papers. Seoul garden must have been glad it adopted the pay first eat later policy.

people in taka evacuate to the only available plot of land tt is the pavement / walkway outside.
problem is tt the walkway is also the fire engine hard standing area isnt it? -
