my friend's 35 yr old brother just got retrenched. he dislike the job.
the retrenchment fee is 40k.
some people are just damn lucky. -

he is in the engineering field. so there shouldnt be a problem in finding a factory job again. -
35 only still got chance to find other jobs ma..he's lucky..

depending on his qualifications.. if he's worked 10 yrs and salary is just $2500 if he is a degree holder, then it's not a lot.

40K is not a lot leh. Its a nice sum for awhile, but not a lot.

true true... but that 40k is bonus money, it's like free gift. Got 1k free gift to me I happy already, no need 40k. 1k can buy toto 2000 times, considering each time 50 cents, haven't buy for a long time dunno got increase the cost or not, somemore GST keeps increasing, but my income keeps dropping.
