It's partly your fault. The taxi drive got to make a living and not play games with your and your friends by stopping at 3-4 places. If you want service, allow him to restart the meter or give a good tip. Don't think that you can demand top notch service just because you pay a puny fare.
The taxi drive should also learn to control his temper. Afterall, he picks up all kinds of crappy passengers and there's no need to get upset with every toad. -
It's always polite to tell the driver beforehand that you have intentions to go to 4 locations and change your mind later to alight at lesser destination. The driver might have a advance call job to accomplished, change shift or have personal appointment made.
If he was told earlier that there's an intention to go 4 destination or less, he can choose at that moment to pick you up or reject the street job offer.
Though he is in the wrong of telling you to get off the cab at your last alighting point, I would still not blame the driver as much as driver have to drive a long time on the road, and driving isn't a relax occupation. In fact, it's stressful to drive, especially when there's more vehicles or bad weather.
Sometimes, it does help when could kindly inform the driver beforehand about your intended amount of destination.

You leh, though you are the customer, one tiny weeny bit of thing also want to complain. He's very poor thing leh.
One unreasonable passenger= spoil his mood
One day drive 15 hours = 20 to 30 unreasonable passengers

I think you cannot blame taxi for getting angry. You have yourself to blame for trying to be cheap and did not ask in advance.
Be fair to the driver also, you all should have got 2 taxi instead of being trying to be cheap. -
Heard nowadays they taxi drivers being exploited left, rite and center.
In the old days, they are allowed to privately owned their own cabs. Then legislation kicks in, and they pay and pay. Even now with the rising oil prices, they are cushioning the increasing fuel prices for you. So you think you pay alot for that mere fare to them, who do you think is ripping you and the taxi driver off ? -

taxi driver hates most is to sent various locations , like 4 locations and above , a waste of money and cabbies' money .

He had the cheek to tell me that either i get off the cab or restart the meter. I was totally enraged and decided to get off..
Although my frens and I were partly at fault for not informing him earlier, his attitude totally pissed me off.. Along the journey, he was speeding and actually dashed through when the traffic lights turned red.. twice! also taking the longer way and turning left when he was at the right lane.. Totally left me fedup!
from wad i read the driver is indeed at fault for being rude. imo u have the right to complain. regardless the reason, the driver shouldn't speed and dashed through the traffic lights like that. juz because he was pissed doesn't let him have the right to play with your lives.

If I should see this rego SHB8167U, I will just ignore it. The driver is very irritating.
