Singaporeans are too uptight. Public nusiance just because of white elephant t-shirts??? Don't the centre finger and rude language printed on shirts fall under this category, why aren't they making arrests now?
All the dramma mama hype surrounding just those white elephants meant for a good laugh. Be glad we aren't even allowed peaceful demonstrations or we would have taken to the streets to protest stupid laws. -

The RGS girls was just using the cute white elephant to raise funds for the charity.
There is no politcal message on the white elephant.
They are actually attaching a new meaning to the white elephant through charity.
So, what is the commotion about using the white elephant without a permit ?
It is not a vulgar, political, rude sign.
This spells for the openness and the lack of humor on the part of the Singapore system.
In encouraging Singaporean to be more creative, who is the stumbling block now ?

I'm starting to have this opinion.
Is it because they are from RGS, the elite, then they got this warning. Well, they are the elites what, the group that the government want to attract and yet also the one that can easily go against it?
So, clamp down on them while they're young! Let them know who's boss.
Maybe if it were some neighbourhood school, I don't think they care. -
