how come my V3 bluetooth headset cant pair with my SE Z520i

  Any body has any idea why it can pair? is there any program to make it work ?
  
  i used to use the V3 headset on the SE K700..i works really good and comfortable... i got the PV700 with the phone, but it dosent fit comfortable in my ears...
  
  any idea how to make the v3 work with the Z520i ? any tools ? do let me know ...help appreciated.....thanks..

  can they 'see' each other?
  
  you might need to use a passcode to pair the devices up. try something generic like '0000' or '1234'.

  me using the 1st generation V3
  can use with n6230
  but cannot use with n7610.....cant even detect........

  maybe ur pin already set..
  
  it could also happen by the hardware's inconsistent drivers.. becuz back den bluetooth de protocol not mature yet. older hardware often have problems connecting to each other becuz of diff driver versions and the fact dat hardware makers oni care about making their own devices to be compatible with the same brand.

  the headset not compatible i guess. Check the manual for the list of compatible phones

  yeah..the V3 box said it can be used with sony ericsson....
  but the sony ericsson Z520i cant detect it....aRg.. anyway to hack the program to make it link? ? ..any 1 have similar problems b4 ?

  i was using v3 also, bought it with my z520i. it was working perfectly until around 5 days ago when it suddenly failed.
  
  message reads something like "cannot be detected"
  
  the light on the v3 bluetooth adapter is lit, and i even tried with a few usb ports to see if it works. cannot.
  
  i tried it at work, cannot.
  
  i have to call the manufacturer tmr. knn. and their website printed on the box, www.vthree.com.sg, is not valid. really knn.

  how do u connect.. can teach me ? i can pair it with my BHB PV700 ..but not the V3... V3 is lighter n better...teach me somebody..thanks,.

  i just installed the disc then can le. i cannot remember if there was special process.
