A dreary, wet morning after overnight rain
Persistent rain overnight led to a dreary and wet Tuesday morning for most commuters in Singapore.
Channel NewsAsia got numerous calls about flooding in areas like Paya Lebar, Yishun, and Thomson.
There were also trees felled by strong winds.
The weatherman says the northeast monsoon is expected to affect the island with intermittent moderate to heavy rain and windy conditions till 7pm Tuesday.
The public is advised to be cautious, and look out for flash floods. - CNA/ir -
