STOP High Rise Littering

just received a leaflet from the authorities reminding people not to litter from their hdb flats.
what a waste of money printing and sending such leaflets. -

There would be no need to waste paper if some folks still insist on throwing things down. My area has an idiot who consistently throws whole loaves of bread down just to watch birds fight over them. Damn dulan watching.

if only a leaflet can convince these people...
i find cigarette butts, milo wrappers, soap wrappers, tissues. cotton buds on my aircon compressor.
the govt should make an effort to look out and fine these people for littering.
only when it hurts their pockets will they stop littering.
on top of that do you know how and when my neighbours upstairs wash their toilets? on a bright sunny day they will hose their toilets windows. the water will come splashing down on my aircon compressor. my bedroom area near the window will be all wet. because of this i have no choice but to close the window at all time. -
Just to reinforce what dragg says here, I will throw those leaflets down from my flat.

wahaha..my grandfather who's abit unstable, used to throw one big plastic bag of empty shells down the flat from 5th storey. Luckily, only warning was given by the police. Phew..
I also agreed. High rise littering is indeed very dangerous..it can kill as if it hits a person, it will hit the head 1st.. -
once i was almost hit by a tin can from someone throwing from a HDB flat. after i stepped into the building, PUNG! the can dropped.

Litterings are almost seen at every HDB flats ! Though not all the occupants litters, as long as there's few itchy handed person, the block can be pretty dirty. I sometimes wonder why can't they simply throw that piece of tissue or wrapper into their dustbin but down the building ? The irony is that even those house with individual chute in their kitchens litters !
It's also difficult to fine them as you can't simply position the officers there 24hours right ? Just hope the itchy hand people be more environmental friendly. -

i hate it when people living above me throw their garbage out and landed on my clothes. and their wet clothes keeps dripping on my clothes.
