The excuse the Singapore Egg Merchants Association gave on TV was that egg supply dropped due to the rain. I was like WTF!?!... chickens stop laying eggs because of the rain?? And i haven't heard of reports that there have been heavy rains and flooding in Malaysia or Singapore such as to hinder trafic flow.
