I will get hot water from the thermos, fill a 1/4 teacup of it and splash away. Intant kill. Of course think about where the water is going before you throw it.

i used to kill it with insecticide , until once i sprayed on it and it started to fly ! from that time onwards dare not use spray liaoz .
usually ask my younger bro to kill it w broom, and he flush it down toilet bowl -

For flying ones i use the badminton racket.. never fails to split it into many pieces...
Crawlers just step or newspaper it
If its in the toilet i'll pour dettol on it. 2 seconds and it will stop moving.

Heard the insecticide isn't effective.
Spray and they will still be alive.
Some people i know use bike degreaser, instant kill, corrode the innards and well, the whole c0ckroach.
At home, usually they will be too fast and i cannot spray degreaser.

I have many method of choice to land my death sentence onto the croach.
1 - I would slam it with reasonable force with my rolled newpaper till it cant move or turned over. I would then
1 - Burn it with watever burning devices eg lighter.
2 - I would use a sicssor to cut off its disguesting fillers first then slowly every single legs. Then turn it over again see how it move.
3 - I use a toothpick stab onto the middle of the body and then pick it up to scare my sister.
4 - I capture it alive into a bottle and play football with it inside.
No matter which foreplay i choose i will always let my hungry tostoise to give the finishing blow. -

Well, I think we should TRY to be merciful to insects also lor, they actually feel pain when we kill them and try to struggle to live everyday. We are more much more fortunate than them.. insects need to watch out for predators almost all day long, if not careful kanna eaten.
For us we dun have to worry bout being eaten alive everyday and there are kopi-tiams everywhere providing food for us readily. 
And I read somewhere that they don't die even if u pluck their heads off. eeewww! WTF! Those muthafuckers don't die?! They can live for three days or so and die cause they cant drink water w/o their head.
I like to squash them all. Used to have thousands in my backyard. I'll squash them with slippers. I have alot of slippers in my backyard cos they are many ppl livin in my house.
The roaches have all gone now, cos my maid left a pack of poison in my kitchen, they eat it and go back contaminate all the rest in its nest. HAHA. ants too. hope the stupid cats n rats come n eat the poison too. And crows. But lizards n mosquitoes.. houseflies better die too. and worms, but .. and bugs. eeew... stupid stuff. -
I want to step on them but thinking of the yellow gooey mess afterwards... I just walk away. Disgusting!
